Betty received an OBE at Buckingham Palace.
Coronation Street legend Betty Driver has died aged 91 yrs.
The actress, who played Rovers Return barmaid Betty Williams for 42 years,died peacefully in hospital.
She celebrated her 91st birthday at the hospital and later said she was looking forward to returning to Coronation Street.
I love working. I can't retire,I won't retire - I never ever will.
She was in out home's on our television twice a week,a lady who will be greatly missed by all.

RIP Betty from Memorial Gardens.
