Brian Labone Everton legend
Died age 66

Labone is recognised as one of Everton's greatest players
Former Everton captain Brian Labone died at the age of 66 after collapsing outside his Merseyside home.

Not only did Brian Labone become one of England's finest defenders of the 1960's he ended his career a true Everton legend, a status which held firm throughout his life and will undoubtedly remain untarnished following his untimely death earlier this year.

Evertonians everywhere were devastated over Brian

He was an outstanding player and a gentleman.
