Another Hero RIP
A PARACHUTE regiment soldier from Bournemouth has been killed in Afghanistan.

Private Conrad Lewis, aged 22, was serving with the 4th Battalion in Nad Ali in Helmand province.

He was killed alongside Private Lewis Hendry while they were on a foot patrol on Wednesday in the village of Nahr-e Bghra.
It takes a special sort of individual to join the Parachute Regiment; it takes an exceptional individual to deploy on operations and for that he will always be remembered within the 4th Battalion The Parachute Regiment

He grew up in Oxfordshire.

Our thought's are with his family and friends and Comrades.

Conrad, I read the story of Pegasus today! Many many thanks to your amazing parents. Words could never express my gratitude to you and the many others who have given their lives. Your memory lives on, a light in the darkness, in the eyes of your lovely dog Pegasus, who has come 'home'.

Conrad, as an ex Paratrooper and life long dog lover I know that at this moment you'll be the proudest warrior in Valhalla looking down on your fantastic family and loving what they have done in bringing Pegasus back to the UK in your memory. Love it, hope she has a long and happy life. Look over her mate.
