Who was James MacArthur James MacArthur is famous for his long run playing Danny Danno Williams on the long running show Hawaii Five-O. It seemed as though Williams was destined to be an actor as he was adopted by two legendary stage acting legends.
Though he was born into an acting family, MacArthur was very diversified in school. He played basketball, football, and baseball.

James MacArthur stayed diversified, appearing in movies, TV, and theater. His big break would come from his appearance in the western, Hang 'Em High, which starred Clint Eastwood. This role led to him landing Dan Williams on Hawaii Five-O.

He is missed by many.Love to his family and children.
