Every now and then, someone walks into our lives. Someone so special, they turn our world upside down.

They take everything we know and prove it wrong. They take the unexpected and make it the norm. They make the grass greener, the sky bluer, and the sun brighter. They inspire us to be better people and lead us down the often bumpy road of life, even if only for a short ride. Sometimes, if we're lucky, they make us feel like we're the greatest person in the world. They teach us to value friendship and through them, we find a little bit of ourselves.

Unfortunately, sometimes these people walk out of our lives just as quickly as they enter. But even in their exit, they teach us that it's more important to remember the lessons they taught us, and the way they changed us, rather than to be sad that they're gone. Through these people, we learn who we are as an individual. And it's through these people that we learn the importance of cherishing memories.

Because even after they're gone, they hope that our grass remains greener, our skies bluer, and our suns just as bright as they left them.
