Lance Corporal Martin Gill from 42 Commando Royal Marines was killed in Afghanistan
The soldier was killed by an improvised explosive device yesterday while on patrol in the Haji Kareen area of the Nahr-e Saraj District of Helmand Province.
known to be the bedrock for his younger brother and sister after their mother died a month before the start of his tour in Afghanistan.
