New Zealand Miners
2010

A national Tragedy,
Angels 29 miners trapped deep inside a New Zealand coal mine,Pike River,after a second massive explosion.two were from the UK.
A helmet with the light still working gave a glimmer of hope but they were meant to become Angels,this light will forever shine in memory of them all.

Our heart's and love are with all those familes,and friend's of the Miner's,may they rest in peace.prayers were said in the hope that they would survive.

One of my oldest and dearest friends Peter Rodger was one of the men who sadly lost their lives at Pike River Mine. I wrote this song the night before the second explosion ended all hopes for the family and friends of the miners.

I really thought you would have been saved like the chilli miners,there are no words to say to comfort your families,im'e so sorry.
