On July 13th 2010 we lost the best Mum, Nan and Great-nan anybody could ever have to lung cancer. My nan was diagnosed with lung cancer in June and the doctors told us they expected her to live for a further 6 months, however after having a short dose of radiotherapy at the start of July to try to buy her extra time and to try to shrink the tumour we lost her less than 2 weeks later. Our world fell apart and we miss her so much and wish she was still here with us. I especially miss calling round in the morning for a cup of tea and a chat. My son was extremely close to her and misses staying with her so much and my mum is hardly able to talk about her without crying. If you are somewhere out there nan please know how much we love you and miss you, sleep tight have a little 5 minutes rest with grandad xxxx

One long year Nan. We have all missed you so much, there have been so many times when I have wanted to ring you or call round for a brew, it is still so hard to take in that you are gone. We are all meeting at the cemetery later to put a special arrangement on your's and grandads grave. Miss you so much Nan, love you, Chelsa and Sam xxxxxx
